🧾 What is an IEC Code?

IEC (Import Export Code) is a 10-digit registration number issued by the DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade). Without this code, no individual or company in India can export or import anything legally.

It acts like your export business ID — and once you have it, you can start dealing with buyers globally.
